- 1 Zu der Zeit wird der HErr heimsuchen mit seinem harten, großen und starken Schwert beide den Leviathan, der eine schlechte Schlange, und den Leviathan, der eine krumme Schlange ist, und wird die Drachen im Meer erwürgen.
- 2 Zu der Zeit wird man singen von dem Weinberge des besten Weins:
- 3 Ich der HErr, behüte ihn und feuchte ihn bald, daß man seiner Blätter nicht vermisse; ich will ihn Tag und Nacht behüten.
- 4 GOtt zürnet nicht mit mir. Ach, daß ich möchte mit den Hecken und Dornen kriegen! So wollte ich unter sie reißen und sie auf einen Haufen anstecken.
- 5 Er wird mich erhalten bei meiner Kraft und wird mir Frieden schaffen; Frieden wird er mir dennoch schaffen.
- 6 Es wird dennoch dazu kommen, daß Jakob wurzeln wird, und Israel blühen und grünen wird, daß sie den Erdboden mit Früchten erfüllen.
- 7 Wird er doch nicht geschlagen, wie ihn seine Feinde schlagen, und wird nicht erwürget, wie ihn seine Feinde erwürgen,
- 8 sondern mit Maßen richtest du sie und lässest sie los, wenn du sie betrübet hast mit deinem rauhen Wind, nämlich mit dem Ostwind.
- 9 Darum wird dadurch die Sünde Jakobs aufhören; und das ist der Nutz davon, daß seine Sünden weggenommen werden, in dem, daß er alle Steine des Altars macht wie zerstoßene Steine, zu Asche, daß keine Haine noch Bilder mehr bleiben.
- 10 Denn die feste Stadt muß einsam werden, die schönen Häuser verstoßen und verlassen werden wie eine Wüste, daß Kälber daselbst weiden und ruhen und daselbst Reiser abfressen.
- 11 Ihre Zweige werden vor Dürre brechen, daß die Weiber kommen und Feuer damit machen werden. Denn es ist ein unverständig Volk; darum wird sich auch ihrer nicht erbarmen, der sie gemacht hat; und der sie geschaffen hat, wird ihnen nicht gnädig sein.
- 12 Zu der Zeit wird der HErr worfeln von dem Ufer des Wassers bis an den Bach Ägyptens; und ihr Kinder Israel werdet versammelt werden, einer nach dem andern.
- 13 Zu der Zeit wird man mit einer großen Posaune blasen, so werden kommen die Verlornen im Lande Assur und die Verstoßenen im Lande Ägypten und werden den HErrn anbeten auf dem heiligen Berge zu Jerusalem.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
