- 1 Benjamin aber zeugete Bela, seinen ersten Sohn, Asbal den andern, Ahrah den dritten,
- 2 Noha den vierten, Rapha den fünften.
- 3 Und Bela hatte Kinder: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
- 4 Abisua, Naeman, Ahoah,
- 5 Gera, Sephuphan und Huram.
- 6 Dies sind die Kinder Ehuds, die da Häupter waren der Väter unter den Bürgern zu Geba und zogen weg gen Manahath:
- 7 nämlich Naeman, Ahia und Gera, derselbe führete sie weg; und er zeugete Usa und Ahihud.
- 8 Und Saharaim zeugete im Lande Moab (da er jene von sich gelassen hatte) von Husim und Baera, seinen Weibern.
- 9 Und er zeugete von Hodes, seinem Weibe: Jobab, Zibja, Mesa, Malcham,
- 10 Jeuz, Sachja und Mirma. Das sind seine Kinder, Häupter der Väter.
- 11 Von Husim aber zeugete er Abitob und Elpaal.
- 12 Die Kinder aber Elpaals waren: Eber, Miseam und Samed. Derselbe bauete Ono und Lod und ihre Töchter.
- 13 Und Bria und Sama waren Häupter der Väter unter den Bürgern zu Ajalon; sie verjagten die zu Gath.
- 14 Ahjo aber, Sasak, Jeremoth,
- 15 Sebadja, Arad, Ader,
- 16 Michael, Jespa und Joha; das sind Kinder Brias.
- 17 Sebadja, Mesullam, Hiski, Heber,
- 18 Jesmerai, Jeslia, Jobab; das sind Kinder Elpaals.
- 19 Jakim, Sichri, Sabdi,
- 20 Elioenai, Zilthai, Eliel,
- 21 Adaja, Braja und Simrath; das sind die Kinder Simeis.
- 22 Jespan, Eber, Eliel,
- 23 Abdon, Sichri, Hanan,
- 24 Hananja, Elam, Anthothja,
- 25 Jephdeja und Pnuel; das sind die Kinder Sasaks.
- 26 Samserai, Seharja, Athalja,
- 27 Jaeresja, Elia und Sichri; das sind Kinder Jerohams.
- 28 Das sind die Häupter der Väter ihrer Geschlechter, die wohneten zu Jerusalem.
- 29 Aber zu Gibeon wohnete der Vater Gibeons; und sein Weib hieß Maecha.
- 30 Und sein erster Sohn war Abdon, Zur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
- 31 Gedor, Ahjo und Secher.
- 32 Mikloth aber zeugete Simea; und sie wohneten gegen ihren Brüdern zu Jerusalem mit ihnen.
- 33 Ner zeugete Kis. Kis zeugete Saul. Saul zeugete Jonathan, Malchisua, Abinadab und Esbaal.
- 34 Der Sohn aber Jonathans war Meribaal. Meribaal zeugete Micha.
- 35 Die Kinder Michas waren: Pithon, Melech, Thaerea und Ahas.
- 36 Ahas aber zeugete Joadda. Joadda zeugete Alemeth, Asmaveth und Simri. Simri zeugete Moza.
- 37 Moza zeugete Binea; des Sohn war Rapha; des Sohn war Eleasa; des Sohn war Azel.
- 38 Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne, die hießen: Esrikam, Bochru, Jesmael, Searja, Obadja, Hanan. Die waren alle Söhne Azels.
- 39 Die Kinder Eseks, seines Bruders, waren: Ulam, sein erster Sohn, Jeus der andere, Eliphelet der dritte.
- 40 Die Kinder aber Ulams waren gewaltige Leute und geschickt mit Bogen; und hatten viele Söhne und Sohnes Söhne, hundertundfünfzig. Die sind alle von den Kindern Benjamins.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
