Psalm 71
- 1 Auf dich, Jehova, traue ich: laß mich nimmer beschämt werden!
- 2 In deiner Gerechtigkeit befreie mich und errette mich! Neige dein Ohr zu mir und schaffe mir Rettung!
- 3 Sei mir ein Fels zur Wohnung, um stets dahin zu gehen! Du hast geboten, mich zu retten, denn du bist mein Fels und meine Burg.
- 4 Mein Gott, errette mich aus der Hand des Gesetzlosen, aus der Faust des Ungerechten und des Gewaltsamen!
- 5 Denn du bist meine Hoffnung, Herr, Jehova; meine Zuversicht von meiner Jugend an.
- 6 Auf dich habe ich mich gestützt von Mutterschoße an, aus meiner Mutter Leibe zogest du mich hervor; von dir ist stets mein Lobgesang.
- 7 Vielen bin ich wie ein Wunder; du aber bist meine starke Zuflucht.
- 8 Mein Mund ist erfüllt von deinem Lobe, von deinem Ruhm den ganzen Tag.
- 9 Verwirf mich nicht zur Zeit des Alters; beim Schwinden meiner Kraft verlaß mich nicht!
- 10 Denn meine Feinde haben von mir geredet, und die auf meine Seele lauern, miteinander geratschlagt;
- 11 und sie sagen: Gott hat ihn verlassen; verfolget und greifet ihn, denn kein Erretter ist da!
- 12 O Gott, sei nicht fern von mir; mein Gott, eile zu meiner Hülfe!
- 13 Laß beschämt werden, laß vergehen, die wider meine Seele sind! laß mit Hohn und Schande bedeckt werden, die mein Unglück suchen!
- 14 Ich aber will beständig harren und all dein Lob vermehren.
- 15 Mein Mund soll erzählen deine Gerechtigkeit, den ganzen Tag deine Rettung; denn ich weiß sie nicht zu zählen.
- 16 Ich werde kommen mit den Machttaten des Herrn Jehova, werde gedenken deiner Gerechtigkeit, deiner allein.
- 17 Gott! Du hast mich gelehrt von meiner Jugend an, und bis hierher habe ich deine Wundertaten verkündet.
- 18 Und auch bis zum Alter und bis zum Greisentum verlaß mich nicht, o Gott, bis ich verkünde deinen Arm dem künftigen Geschlecht, allen, die da kommen werden, deine Macht!
- 19 Und deine Gerechtigkeit, o Gott, reicht bis zur Höhe; du, der du große Dinge getan hast, o Gott, wer ist wie du?
- 20 Du, der du uns viele Bedrängnisse und Übel hast sehen lassen, du wirst uns wieder beleben, und uns wieder heraufführen aus den Tiefen der Erde.
- 21 Du wirst meine Größe mehren, und du wirst dich wenden und mich trösten.
- 22 Auch will ich dich preisen mit der Harfe, ja, deine Wahrheit, mein Gott! Ich will dir Psalmen singen mit der Laute, du Heiliger Israels!
- 23 Jubeln werden meine Lippen, wenn ich dir Psalmen singe, und meine Seele, die du erlöst hast;
- 24 Auch meine Zunge wird von deiner Gerechtigkeit reden den ganzen Tag; denn beschämt, denn mit Scham sind bedeckt worden, die mein Unglück suchen.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text.
